Is it Possible to Increase Traffic without SEO?

Using search engine optimization (SEO) technique in internet marketing is said to be the golden rule in driving more traffic to a website. Everywhere you look and every page you turn, you will see traces of SEO. But is it really possible to increase website traffic without using SEO technique? The answer is a resounding yes.

Try the following easy tips in driving more traffic to your website even without using SEO:

1.      Write Unique Articles. The internet is an infinite universe of full raw, confusing and, yes, informative data. In fact, it is an ocean of information just about anything under, above and beyond the sun. In writing a mean article, you are basically throwing additional information into this vast ocean and there is a sure possibility that your ideas will disappear in time. So how will you make a difference? Write unique, original and high quality articles for your blog. In writing excellent articles, good words about your blog will spread faster than a virus. Just as words about your blog are spreading over the net, without you knowing it, your articles are actually being indexed by search engines. In no time, it will appear right before your eyes the moment you search for it.

2.      Craft Interesting Titles. In crafting interesting titles, your target is not only the search engines, but the very minds of people reading your blog. They must not be so overly funny but interesting enough to arrest a person’s curiosity. When you capture your readers’ interest, you are actually marking an SEO on him. The moment he finishes reading your article, you have win him over and you made it possible because of an interesting title. Expect that in the next few hours or so, he will be back at you to crave for more. Your mission: arrest him by providing him with thought-provoking titles and interesting topics under your expertise, not just about any internet gossip. Here, we are only talking about a single visitor, and what if there are countless of them?

3.      Write, write and write. There is a saying that when it comes to website, size does matter. In fact, it is true if you want to generate more traffic to a single website with multiple pages. This works very simple: the more pages you have, the more articles you can post and the more readers you will have. Your commitment here: to post only unique, original and high quality articles. In this way, you are giving a variety of good choices for your readers. When they start exploring your website, they are actually leaving their footprints on every page they visit, thus resulting to the increase of traffic.

4.      Be never boring. Like the people who visit the net, the internet is a fast-moving being. Remember that when a visitor comes across a boring article in your blog, consider him a lost soul. He will never come back to read your posts again. What’s worst? Bad words against your blog will knock you off from the search engines. You will lose readership. Your mission: write interesting articles. This includes incorporating intelligent ideas, using correct words for specific thoughts, clear presentation of ideas and challenging the minds of your readers, not just feeding them with information like they are hungry kids. When you capture the attention of your readers, you are actually making them part of you. This is what you are looking for-because when they disappear-they will bring with them a part of you and certainly they will come back for more and this time, with enthusiasm.

Good article however it would be of benefit to better understand how to actually use these articles to drive traffic. Obviously, simply writing isn’t enough. But I do agree that these strategies can work without using SEO.

Yes I have always believed in this and spend most of my energy, time and focus on building back links to website.

What I have discovered is once a website is built you can only optimize the SEO infrastructure as much as the client will allow you to do so.

I have obtained wonderful results with PR, Article marketing, commentary on blogs, forums, yahoo answers, yelp, micro blogging, and using Social Media platforms.

I know first hand that PPC and SEO is not the only way to get traffic.

    Sincerely

Google local business listings is fast becoming the “New” Seo for local businesses. The Google seven pack may soon be more important that traditional, organic SEO for small businesses. Local business owners can do many of these tasks in-house with a little bit of training!

I believe that SEO can increase traffic. Of course it does. But your concern must not be only random traffic but viewers and readers who come back. 1000 unique visitors v/s 200 visitors who gives a repeat visit, which is best? Many people will argue from an AdSense point of View that driving unique traffic is better as the chances of more clicks increases. But can you really base your business with AdSense in Mind? what about those readers who come in search for something meaningfule?
Though I have been publishing research articles and developing solutions for Long, I never spent a pie for advertisement and I dont have to. People talk about you, if you are good. The bottom line is

    1. Before writing an article pick up the subject matter and search if really relevant information is present. if not, take the subject.
    2. Write Good and Interesting Articles first hand forget what ad sense has to do with this.
    3. Now integrate the keywords that can be integrated in the first line itself.
“Fans” brings you more traffic and revenue in long run than black hat SEO. When you have many repeat visitors, you can offer them customized services and other Ad Products.
